- Dress yourself first Mum! Pick out something you love and work out everyone around you. Make yourself feel comfortable, pretty & special!
- Make sure everyone feels comfortable. It will come across in the portraits if they’re not!
- You don’t have to wear matching colours!
- Steer clear of big bold colours.
- Complimentary colours are perfect. Keep all clothes in the same tonal range. Or if one person is wearing a pattern, pick out a colour or two in that pattern & dress everyone in that tone.
- Think about the time of year & location of your portraits. If it’s in a rich green park, maybe steer clear of greens…we want to be able to see you!
- Definitely no logo’s! Keep writing and patterns to a minimum. You don’t want clashing outfits.
- Consider where you are going to display your portraits. You want your portraits to sit in well with your home décor.
- Feel free to text me a snap of your clothing choices if you want another pair of eyes to help!
